Covid stories..Its all happening at OFM now!

Its all happening in these Covid days at OFM!
Got a call today morning..HN one of our Volunteer/customer, asks when will the veggies come moro..i thought she is just asking for her purchase..

no, it was not the case..

me; we shud be ready for sale from 10am..

HN: no, am asking from when will it arrive..

me: we shud be there from 7am or so.. couple of them even earlier..

HN; ok tell me how many of u will be there, I shall bring lunch for all of u..i know u will all be working hard from the morning..

how thoughtful..and we all know food from her home will be very special (delicious n filled with love and comes in real, good quantities..)..all our people are thrilled..

what a generous gesture! And what a great motivation in these covid days!

Then there is a call from SB- who is a regular volunteer for OFM..

she asks when is the veggies coming moro?

Me: early..

SB: when will u gjuys be there?

Me: say from 8am

SB: do u have enof hands..

me: Just about..

SB; ok, me and my son will comeearly moro..

Then there are some of our custs who cook in our kitchen for our folks..

some of them bring some thing 'special' that they tried..

so its not just some organic vending thats happening here at OFM! Its 'more than retail'..

all of these add to our energy, smiles and hopes..
