Oh! Hyderabad..

Its a pity it is spreading to south alarmingly..more bcos the govts here are pathetically blind to intelligence and anti-terroristic measures..yeah, talk of vote bank..if a terrorist comes from one religion (mostly) and if that can get u votes, hey, look the other side! Who cares.com
And this time it has been a touristic place..and WHY do they want to really kill innocents- watching some laser shows or simply gazing stars..shameful and cowardice.
So time to look at all those kashmir emporiums selling rugs and other 'warm clothes' in places like chennai, hyderabad, warrangal (all 45degrees+ for 6 months atleast!)??

    Very depressing.
I was unable to sleep for the next 2 nights as my mind was pre-occupied with thoughts on how to prevent ( or atleast minimize) this from happening. One thing that the public must be taught is to be aware of their sorroundings and cautious to look for strage or suspicious objects (includes people). Train them on disaster management ( b'cos if it is not terrorist, it is mother nature that takes the toll), first aid, CPR etc.

To be frank, I am upset with how much importance the Govt, Press and the public in general to the loss of human life.
It has been just 2 days since the incident happened and the news or updates about the blast is not in the front page of major newspapers (online). Why do we not value human life....Is everyone busy in their own world attending to their daily chores unaware that the same thing can happen to them.

Imagine if something like this has happened in US or UK.

I think many NGOs are focussing on Education, Anti-corruption... I think we have to float new NGOs that focus solely on Anti-Terrorism. Some of the activities could be - increase a feeling of trust, love and brotherlihood amonsgt people, disaster prevention and first-aid, follow-up with Govt on the actions taken to prevent such attacks and how the public can co-operate etc.

I am unable to add much to it but probably a group of like-minded people may be able to brainstorm and arrive at various ideas that can be implemented.

I am sure in another few days, we will lose some more lives again due to terrorism and the Govt will make statements like "We cannot tolerate terror anymore"...

But the lives that are lost are lost.

    Ananth,
Well we can't expect much seriousness from the Govt..
What can a concerned citizens do to minimize the attacks.
