so..

so many things at a terrific pace..so blogging at sluggish pace..
But I need to write so much, esp about the many beautiful people I have been meeting in the recent past..
such complete people with so much dedication and motivation to do good! man..unbelievable..
One Prof. Dayanandam and his wife - what a pair..and what thoughts.. finger tips on most eco conscious matters- cud be anything from trees, afforestation to water bodies, garbage n what not..
Another prof. Narasimhan from MCC who again dedicates so much of his little personal time available for such causes..
Mr.Ranganathan- the TN organic farmers association president, who gave a new insight about organic farming and a very nice human being..
K.Vijayalakshmi - phenomenal lady who runs the centre for Indian knowledge systems and is a good reason for propagating oragnic farming in India..
so many such people..i shud spend some time in the imm future and document them all esp their activities..
But that does leave me a bit pessimistic..what is that a person like me can do that these great characters have not achieved, hmmm...

One more big incident of last week: one of the exnoran MR.RathinavelPandian had filed a suit against the govt and seeking courts intervention to avoid dumping garbage in to the huge pallavaram lake and also the road that goes right in between the lake..he won and the court indicted the govt and asked to take alternative steps..and so lots of local politicos and thugs (if there is a diff) had gathered outside his house. so we likeminded people all had to assemble there to show our solidarity and support..atleast there were many of us- a hearty thing to note..and MR.Nirmal's intervention (some unique idea bowling and getting lotsa 'whoswho' to intervene) meant diffusing the situation early..but some light at the end of the tunnel..

oh, time for me to move out of madras for a few days..off to salem and then to blore and may be some hill station (heat getting on to my head too much;-))
