Occupy Wall Street!

heard of OWS? see here!
Thats an amazing development where the common man & woman are fighting the might in non-violent and creative ways..
bringing to light the domination by the corporates and rich (rightly called the 1%) on the rest of us (99%)..they set out demonstrating in New york against the wall street- symbolically and significantly against the financial giants.
ok not giants but suckers..who suck our taxes and monies and pretend to be financial giants and wizards where as they have been living on doles and bails outs and convenient, illogical tax cuts..and their chiefs live on vulgar amounts of bonuses and incentives - prolly for screwing up the economy and our lives..
NO! this aint communism! its the reality..
one cannot sweep this as the struggle of jobless and poor..for once the reality is surfacing..
so watch out, read carefully, try and understand..dont see it superficially..scratch the surface, please..

For one I really admire the way the Americans (one cud say westerners!)protest..there is so much fun and innovation out there..
see how they have made that whole area look..
non violent but fun and creative..
cool, eh?

One also knows that almost all ills (evils?) emanate from the US of A! and here iam happy such antidote too comes from there..isn't it wonderful that there is space for such things too out there?

see those slogans "we are the 99%" and "1% vs 99%" are really catching up fast..
for once i say 'come on US! way to go!'

what I love the most is that now it is slowly moving across arenas..where it was concentrating on US centric ills like big bonuses, huge bail outs and the typical capitalist problems, now they are talking of the ills of all their huge corporates..
so now over to food, agriculture, agri chemicals and all..

see this: http://motherjones.com/environment/2011/10/food-industry-monopoly-occupy-wall-street
(thx Devi!)
Just do not miss reading this in full, atleast twice! its an amazing piece..
talks about all ills of the corporate giants and the consolidation of the industry forces (each one has just 3 or 4 of the major houses dominating!) and how their influence (lobbying and framing of favourable rules for themselves) has lead to major ills for the society.

thats a good development..that this mindless corporatisation, its (d)evilish designs to dominate and rule the rest of us with scant respect to the health, safety and ethics is being exposed across industry is such a great development!
But the whole media is silent (where not silent is against this) on this because they just wont open against the corporates and rich u see!
what a world we have inherited bcos of these corporate goons..
what bottomless greed barrels these are!

Thats why this is such a poetic justice- that such a movement has started in US and now spreading across the globe at such a pace..

Come on folks! way to go OWS!

Osama Bin laden dead! or is it?

so one of the most dreaded terrorist in world has been killed by the creator themselves..
by the CIA that is..

and poor Pakistan, as we all know they are so short sighted, couldnt see Osama walk around 1.5 hours from their capital.

Good..but now the fun starts..
who is better?
- Americans who thought Paks were their ally?
- terrorists who, rightly, thought they were ruling pakistan and so nothing can happen to osama or who ever had a bomb?
- ISI who were throwing mud in to all eyes?

and then to see who defends whom and who pulls down whom..
for eg Pervez is already saying its a shame US carried out an operation in their land!! ha ha..who? Pervez!!

already lotsa noises all round about how this could have been carried out- with or without pak army or ISI!!

but the most funny noise was being made about no phone connection or internet in Osama's Bungalow! hey, why does he need it when he can just walk in to that pak Army institute and make all calls and browsing with high security- i mean firewalls and all!

and as always with US- conspiracy theories are on already!
(remember they have fantastic conspiracy theories on moon landing to 9/11 to everything!)

China and its imminent fall

First it was their cheap or free labour that got them all their monies..and now a crack there..US and many of its followers in the west wants China to open up Yuan- their much tampered currency. Ok, call it correction.
Even if they open up a bit or correct (for the sake of pleasing the masters) they would be doomed..their wafer thin margins (yes, the manufacturing units, workers get piddly amounts. Like all communist regimes it’s the select few top communists and agents who will take the huge share of profits) will be hit and that shall be a hard hit below their belt.

Ofcourse their recent rub on the west’s face by installing some Nuke reactors in Pakistan. How much ever they all say its for energy u know what happens if paks have some wrong technology. Who gets to use them faster than their military? Ofcourse bin laden’s boys:-)

Then comes their downfall-III, their take on GM foods. The fact that they are fast becoming one of the largest users of GM seeds will mean a disaster, soon.

Oh no! iam not even going to talk of their Xinjiang muslim problems or the labor unrest all over or the many hidden (to outside world) catastrophes.

Iam just going to sit back and enjoy their fall- very imminent and looking closer by the day.ha ha!

Rajasthan bans plastic carry bags

Yay! Thats a great news!
We have seen this in many touristic places like Kodai, Darjeeling etc.
As a state Sikkim had implemented this long back! But that’s more or less like a touristic place.
But for a bigger state to seriously pursue this is a great news.
With time the whole state would become sensible in handling plastic and that would show up on road side garbage, water percolation and how easily people can cope up with its absence!

Wish more states go this route soon.
Till then lets encourage and bless such daring rare moves!

Partner in terror!

Ha ha..one more close shave..
Another Pakistani..another attempt..
Another close shave..another paki link established..
But will these US goofs still talk about ‘partner in terror’ ‘aid and talks’ ‘fight terror together’ and the blue-eyed-pak treatment continue over there? Till a few more 9/11 happens?
Good luck Obama..u r right on track there..
except that some undiplomatic sleuth caught this sleazy paki before he left for Dubai..
if only that had happened we wud had another India-like dialogs and negotiation to get that crook on legal track..some fun missed, but more to come na?
don’t fail us, ok?

ULFA and bangladesh

ULFA the outlawed terror organisation in Assam was fighting against the illegal immigrants if i remember right..One of their main demands was to stop the immigrants and they focused on the local issues caused bcos of such immigrants..
immigrants from where? Bangladesh!
so u think there could be some genuine problem..

But where do they operate from? bangladesh? bcos indian govt is hunting for them..
who is supporting them? the very same nationals that they are fighting against!
and whats the latest news? ULFA's chairman is caught! where? in Bangladesh!
how nice, eh? ISI, bangla terror outfits have relations with them i read!

piles of paradox!

World Tibet Day

Its today and many of us would have passed by this date without even any knowledge or semblance bcos our 'red' filled media wud only ignore this news.
I wish & pray Tibet is save and out of chinese clutches, for our own safety.
I sincerely wish for Tibetan Independence, soon.
Did you know its HH Dalailama's birthday thats being celebrated as World Tibet day to spread an awareness of the genocide in Tibet and to keep the freedom struggle going.

an aside: Iam maha thrilled about news of protests and riots in China. Though that has nothing to do with Tibet, iam glad some protests are happening there and actually they have been covered by media across the globe!

Black President!

hey! So the US of A has a black president! am happy for him and USA, bcos its a social statement.
But unfortunately its not as social as the media makes us all believe. Its more economical in my op. more simply, Obama is not George Bush and thats what got him the votes and not being black or not.I hope he lives up to the huge expectation aroused world over..
All said, I still cant believe US has a colored president. So they over came the Bradley effect:-)
way to go Obama! 3 cheers..

note: I still cant stop myself imagining what a place this world could have been if Al Gore had indeed won then in 2000. hmm..atleast US seems to wake a bit late. Good luck US in these turbulent days- ur own making but!

a dummies guide to this financial crisis!

hey this is hilarious and educative at the same time:-) thanks pradeep for the link!
am just reminded of a sentence i saw long back about capitalism, which wud mean something like - 'profits are privatised and losses are socialised'.. isn't true across the globe? as long as the lehman & other financial firms, oil industry, airlines, big IT (before that bust I mean), etc enjoyed every bit of the fake boom (created by themselves) and all the profits that were garnered then, it was all fine, for them that is! and when they had a big crisis (which anyway was looming large all along because of their style of operation) it had be the governments or in other words our collective pockets that had to bail them out or suffer the loss (indirectly though).

Zardari!

This Mr. 10% was unstoppable a couple of days back..yes! when he met Sara palin!
oh dear..what a shame!
A country’s head goes all out in full media glare..his tongue hitting his knee, beating that History of world (part I) kallu!
Phew..even if u really fell for a woman, even if u were really wishing u get her. Even if u were just fantasizing, that’s not the way to go about..not with full media attention..
One has to see that video clip to believe a man can grope like that!
I cant resist from thinking he might come with an idea to marry her for world peace
if she wins;-)

But that’s not why I hate him..This Mr.10% was clearly the most corrupt that all previous corrupt guys of pak were put to shame and loss, at one shot. He was proved guilty and was even set aside by his wify, Benazir- who herself does not have any good record.
And he uses her death factor and maneuvers to unsettle Pervez and sidelines Shariff (oh thats 4 crooks in one sentence!) and settles at the top.
Forget the fact that Pak can never get a non-corrupt guy (oh! To come from an Indian that’s a great achievement isn’t?) , but a non-dependable and absolutely non-trustworthy guy up there is a great concern for India.

Btw I forgot the wholistic muslim country that pak is, why don’t they slash a fatwa on this fella for such idiotic public indulgence..how I wish, they cut his..tongue I mean;-)

The best I read till now on US pres polls

quote:
McCain’s team, in an effort to distract, is going to keep doing what they’re doing—diverting voters and the media with a tantalizing combination of personal trivia and small lies. It doesn’t matter if they’re caught in them—in fact, all the better. Because they know there is no way in hell they can win if this election is about the big truth of the Bush years.
McCain’s real running mate is George Bush and the failed policies of the Republican Party. Even if they are dressed up in a skirt, lipstick, and Tina Fey glasses.
unquote.

Outsourcing, 3rd world and Nuke group!

So you thought the west only outsource some of the IT jobs and all those crazy credit calls jobs to you? The west is known to wash any dirt anywhere to their convenience..it was those ships before now, its ship loads of their household garbage! American & UK garbage get dumped in india…companies like ITC help them handle it..what a shame..
There are other small firms too which collect the containers in the pretext of used/recyclable papers and dump them in farm lands (where else?) in south India.
One good outcome of the many forward mails, in this context, was this issue got a real big exposure..many leading dailies covered this.
Of all those I like this the best! In a brit daily about their own garbage dump!
so what is the nuke doing there in the title?
Now some of the developing countries say India, will think that’s the way to go and so will slowly ‘grow up’! As a proof of their growth, will attempt to ship their garbage to some African country.
By then the west would have formed a group called Garbage G8 countries and that only they can ship their garbage across the globe and keep their countries spik n span. Any other attempting will be ‘embargo’ed or penalized..blah blah..and India wud ‘apply’, ‘apply pressure’, ‘apply oil’ and try to feature as the 9th in the G8 or G88 and will request all of them to pass a bill and the garbage G8 to allow them to export too! export what? toxic wastes and what not!
Get it? A cartel shall be formed for any sham and many will emulate and so the whole dangerous deed itself shall be shadowed.
So here we are, now that we have done and dusted the nuke club, lets go garbage.
